Exploring CPU-only preflight testing for supported GPU kernels
#916
I’m exploring whether PantheonSim could provide an optional CPU-only preflight step for supported GPU kernels in development or CI.
The idea is to catch basic functional issues before allocating GPU time, while keeping real-GPU testing for final correctness and performance validation.
I’d be interested in your feedback on whether this would be useful and what compatibility requirements would need to be met for a small proof of concept.
