Disclosure: I’m building Aleph. It’s a separate desktop workspace, not a smolagents integration.
Aleph is an open-source macOS workspace for configuring models, tools, agents, and workflows. In The Workshop, you can set an agent’s role, goal, model, and tools, then revise the setup as you learn what works. I’m sharing it here because the interface around an agent matters too: how much should be configurable, and what should people be able to inspect and change?

I’d be interested in feedback from people building agents with framework-first tools: where would a visual workspace help, and where would it get in the way?
