AutoDrive 3.0.1.4 (5 October 2026) can lay a loop of points round a field from its own editor
(Ctrl+Shift+F). It marks each of those points with the field it belongs to, so that pressing it again
finds the old loop, deletes it and lays a new one. Our tools used to strip or break those marks, and the
points they touched were left behind as strays when AutoDrive laid the loop again.

AutoDrive's field points

  • Convert (the tool, the selection popup and the span menu) now changes only a point's priority.
AutoDrive's own marks on the point stay: its field-point mark, and the marks it puts on the map's
    traffic roads.
  • Smooth, Straighten and Divide, and a point added into a link, give the new points the field's
mark and number, so the loop stays one loop AutoDrive can replace.
  • Copies and new tracks (Move's copy, Parallel and Siding, the junction tool's new connectors) no
longer carry a half field-point mark from the point they were made from.
  • Convert on a whole loop (a field loop, or any closed loop) now changes every link of it. The link
at the clicked point used to be skipped: after one-way it stayed two-way, after other way it pointed
against the rest, and the next click somewhere else picked it up. One-way also keeps the way a
mostly one-way run already goes instead of following where the click happened to start, and a single
point between two junctions now has both its links converted.

Warnings you can read

  • The editor's own warning box. While the editor is open, a warning no longer blinks small in the
middle of the screen: it appears in bigger red text, attached under the tool card you are using (or
the Select menu, or the corner panel; above it if below would cover the minimap). It stays long
enough to read - at least 5 seconds, longer for a long message - and a click closes it. With the
editor closed, the game's own warning shows as before.
  • The warning about a destination name that already exists uses it.

Also in this release (the tester build after 1.0.2.0)

  • The whole-HUD hide now runs in the same order as the restore, for a tester whose mouse-wheel zoom in
the vehicle stopped working after leaving the editor. FlyoverHudOrder legacy brings back the 1.0.2.0
    order for a comparison.
  • Extra debug log lines for that report: which input events each HUD toggle and editor visit added or
removed, and whether AutoDrive took the first wheel events after leaving the editor.
