Version 3.1 turns the research browser into a reading desk and rebuilds the Stats dashboard.
Highlights
- A larger catalog: grew from 151 to 235 papers since v3.0.0, with 61 reader briefings (+13) and 8 technical blogs. Growth comes from the daily paper watch and a backfill of 38 verified historical papers (#68).
- Reading desk: the site is now a resizable reading desk with a paper list and a detail pane, alphaXiv thumbnails, and an always-visible catalog bulletin with the next paper-watch countdown.
- Better filtering: new publication and influence signals, a High influence filter, global date sorting, and removable active-tag chips with tag links from the table view (#82).
- Redesigned Stats (#84):
- The release trend chart spans the full width and follows the light or dark site theme.
- The 1Y view shows weekly bars with a 4-week trailing average.
- Hovering or using the arrow keys shows the count for each period.
- Headline figures show papers in range, the busiest period, and the average per period.
- Category mix is a stacked share bar, and the chart colors are checked for color-blind readability.
Verification
- This release contains 235 papers, 8 blogs, and 61 reader briefings.
- PR #84 validation passed generated-artifact checks, asset budgets, and unit tests.
- The GitHub Pages deployment for the release commit completed successfully.
