UK postcodes POI file as of May 2026.
For more info on usage and how to create it yourself: see the Readme
These postcodes are POIs. It means that you can't use the postcode address search from the address pane. The postcodes in that screen are real postcodes connected to addresses.
This postcodes POI file contains POIs with coordinates with the name of a postcode. Actually the same as searching for "Tower Bridge", "Eiffel tower" or likewise POIs. In this case you search for postcodes like 'ct14 8eu' or 'EX34 7EX' (uppercase or lowercase) via the magnifying glass in the top of your map screen or in the white bar in the top of the search screen , and it will find the postcode(s).
The zipped version needs to be manually unzipped. The (unzipped) UK_postcodes_poi_europe.obf can simply be copied into your OsmAnd folder between the other maps, ór you copy it somewhere onto your internal memory/SD-card and double-click it and OsmAnd will import it.
Note that since 2021 also more postcodes have been added to the United Kingdom OSM data, so you might find double entries from my POI file and from the OsmAnd maps themselves.
