Version 1.2.4
Captions that follow your edits, a kinder delete, and nothing lost on the way out.
- Captions follow the transcript again. After working on any project whose captions you'd edited by hand (or imported), a newly transcribed file quietly stopped syncing its captions: editing the transcript updated neither the captions on the video nor the caption editor. Fresh transcriptions now always start with caption sync on; hand-edited and imported captions remain untouched, exactly as before. (Two bugs deep — the caption editor also showed pre-edit captions on its first visit.)
- Deleting the project you're working on is gentler. The transcript stays on screen, and the deleted entry becomes a dotted placeholder in your Recents list — in its old spot — with Restore right inside it. Restore puts everything back where it was, edits included; opening anything else makes the delete final.
- The last seconds of typing survive closing the tab. Autosave waits 1.5 seconds after you stop typing, and closing inside that window used to lose the newest words. The pending save now lands the moment the page is hidden — switching tabs, switching apps on mobile, or closing.
- Paste is its own undo step. Pasting just after typing had merged into one undo entry; ⌘Z removed both. Type, paste, type is three steps again.
- Under the hood: the caption pipeline's defence against stale caption writes now covers every route by design rather than by lucky timing, and the test suite runs on sturdier infrastructure.
