Some sites retired their feeds (AP News) and some block feed readers entirely (Reuters). Hyprfeed now handles both.

Added

  • Google News fallback — when a site hard-blocks automated readers, the add dialog and setup wizard explain what happened and offer Google News' public site-scoped feed as an explicit choice (never automatic), subscribed as "Site (via Google News)"
  • Page watcher on broken feeds — the "Follow without a feed" offer now appears on any add failure where the page has recognizable articles, not just when no feed is advertised (fixes AP News, whose advertised feed is retired and answers 401)

Changed

  • Bot-wall responses (401/403) get a browser-UA retry and an honest "blocks automated readers" message instead of a bare status code
