Bug or Regression?
Bug
Description
After zooming back out to 1.0, the screen doesn't yet show the new state as described in #2858. The difference is that moving the mouse doesn't fix it. While moving the mouse I see the workspace with factor 1.0 and as soon as I stop moving the mouse it shows the old factor again. Since I can't move the mouse at every frame it produces a flicker-effect.
You can recover from this state by e.g. switching the workspace back and forth. It also doesn't happen when certain apps like firefox are on the screen. I assume that they re-render all the time causing the effect to go away. I can reproduce this with both an empty workspace(but with waybar enabled) and with a single alacritty window running. Your mileage may vary depending on your waybar config.
How to reproduce
- open an empty workspace
- zoom in to 1.1
- zoom out to 1.0
Crash reports, logs, images, videos
For whatever reason you can't see waybar in this OBD recording. I'm following the steps I listed under "how to reproduce" and then I switched workspaces to make the issue go away.
