RedByteFX 1.0.0
RedByteFX 1.0.0 is the first public release of a Kotlin-first DSL for Android AGSL.
AGSL is powerful, but in raw string form it is verbose, fragile, and not very Kotlin-friendly. RedByteFX provides a typed DSL that keeps shader code expressive and concise without giving up AGSL performance or flexibility.
Highlights:
- Kotlin-first typed DSL for AGSL authoring
- readable generated AGSL
- Compose integration for runtime usage
- stdlib with reusable shader helpers and recipes
- no extra rendering runtime on top of AGSL
- Android API 33+
