Release Notes - AdManageKit v1.1.8

What's New

  • Separation of Modules: AdManageKit is now split into two independent modules:
    • AdManageKit-Ads: Handles AdMob ads, including banners, interstitials, and native ads.
    • AdManageKit-Billing: Manages in-app purchases using Google Play Billing.
  • Global Purchase Provider:
    • Added BillingConfig.setPurchaseProvider(BillingPurchaseProvider()) for automatic ad management based on purchase status.
    • Ensures ads are disabled for premium users without requiring manual checks.
  • Improved Dependency Management:
    • Moved AppPurchaseProvider to AdManageKit-Core for better modularity.
    • AdManageKit-Ads and AdManageKit-Billing now depend on AdManageKit-Core.
  • User Messaging Platform (UMP) Enhancements:
    • Improved GDPR/CCPA compliance with better handling of consent forms.
    • Ensured seamless ad request handling based on user consent status.
  • Better Documentation & Sample Project:
    • Updated README with clear installation and usage instructions.
    • Sample project now demonstrates modular usage of Ads and Billing.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed SoftwareComponent with name 'release' not found error for proper publishing.
  • Resolved Cannot access class 'AppPurchaseProvider' by moving it to AdManageKit-Core.
  • Addressed This application is not configured to use dynamic features issue.
  • Improved caching and loading mechanism for interstitial ads.

Known Issues

  • Some ad networks may require re-initialization after UMP consent updates.
  • Ensure Google Play Console setup for in-app purchases to avoid billing errors.
