pipensx 1.4.0 — Press Release

Nine days, one hundred and one commits: from 1.3.1 to the biggest release yet.

pipensx — a native BitTorrent download manager and streaming package installer
for Nintendo Switch — presents version 1.4.0. The release includes everything
accumulated since 1.3.1: a third debrid provider, an updates hub with smart
installation, a storage manager, network diagnostics, new locales, and dozens
of stability fixes.

What's New

• Real-Debrid. Real-Debrid joins TorBox and TorrServer with secure key
  storage, clear API error messages, and a re-link hint on 401/403.
• Updates hub and smart install. Game updates are folded into My Games with
  a sidebar counter, Patch title id matching, and one-tap DLC installation
  right from the game card.
• My Games: Games and Ports. Tabs separate Nintendo titles from homebrew
  ports. Added library uninstall, full port removal, and installing unofficial
  ports with a warning dialog and auto-copy to SD:/switch/.
• Storage Manager. Per-category space breakdown and safe cleanup, right in
  Settings.
• Network diagnostics. A Network Health screen: torrent health score,
  honest DHT state, and live connection statistics.
• Download queue. Queue summary, batch operations, and move up/down.
• Notifications. Toasts for download and install lifecycle events, with
  install failures distinguished from download failures.
• Localization. Added Simplified Chinese (zh-CN) and Spanish (es).
• Catalog and storage. Custom HTTPS catalog source, support for torrents
  with more than 512 files, and storing files larger than 4 GiB on FAT32 via
  DBI split folders.
• UI and performance. Settings redesign (hub with a section rail),
  Free/Paid chips on first run, remote settings in the web companion, and
  faster debrid downloads (coalesced writes and parallel Range requests).

Critical Fixes

• Fixed a freeze when deleting catalog torrents with many files.
• The stream-install progress bar no longer pins at 100% after packages commit.
• Real-Debrid: file selection was sent incorrectly and broke downloads — fixed.
• TorrServer: setup no longer aborts on Switch after GET /echo.
• TorBox: TLS trusted on Switch, with a hint on system clock skew.
• Resumable package journals are preserved — installs correctly resume after a
  restart.
• Failed web seeds now back off instead of hammering the swarm.
• Fixed a recycler crash on empty catalog sections.
• Crash lines are written through the open log file descriptor and no longer
  get lost on abnormal exit.
• Storage Manager cleanup can no longer touch live installs.
• Compressed NACP headers are read correctly — installed games keep their real
  names.
