Wake goes cross-platform: this release adds experimental Linux support alongside the usual macOS build.

Highlights

  • Linux support (experimental) — browse, full-text search and resume all your coding-agent sessions on Linux desktops. Prebuilt arm64 packages attached below (.deb, and a tar.gz with a user-level install.sh); x86_64 users can build from source in one command (scripts/make-linux.sh).
  • Resume on Linux opens sessions in GNOME Terminal, Console, Konsole, Ghostty, kitty, Alacritty, WezTerm, Xfce Terminal or XTerm — whichever you have installed.
  • Platform-native shortcuts — ⌘K on macOS, Ctrl+K on Linux.
  • Resume failure notices now only say "copied to clipboard" when the copy really happened; otherwise the command is shown right in the message.

Install

macOS (14+, Apple Silicon): download Wake-0.2.5-macos.zip, unzip, drag to Applications. The app is ad-hoc signed, so Gatekeeper blocks the first launch — right-click → Open, or run xattr -d com.apple.quarantine Wake.app.

Linux (experimental, arm64): sudo dpkg -i wake_0.2.5_arm64.deb, or unpack the tar.gz and run ./install.sh for a user-level install (no root). Requires Vulkan drivers (mesa-vulkan-drivers, pulled in by the deb automatically). The data layer, rendering and search are fully tested; terminal-resume targets and desktop integration have seen less real-desktop mileage yet — issues welcome.
