M33 1.03

Choose a tag to compare

@iHaiDeeZ iHaiDeeZ released this 19 Oct 15:53

Fixed

  • Pressing the Home icon in the game browser closed M33. It now goes to your games folder.

Changed

  • Games started from M33's list now start straight in, without going through the PSP firmware first. If you'd like the PSP's game boot animation back, turn on Settings → System → PSP Firmware → Play the PSP game boot when a game starts. Games started from the XMB still play it.

Install

Install M33-v1.03.pkg with GoldHEN's Package Installer, on top of 1.02: your games, saves and settings in /data/March33/ stay as they are.

@iHaiDeeZ iHaiDeeZ released this 19 Oct 04:00

Every language, readable

  • Menus and game titles in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Russian and other non-Latin languages no longer show as ? ? ?: M33 now draws text with real fonts (the PS4's own, and Noto fonts in the package).
  • Arabic and Persian are in the language list, with letters joined and read right to left. Hebrew, Kurdish, Thai, Khmer and Lao no longer show boxes.
  • M33's own menus (the quick menu, cheats, save states) are translated into 13 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. M33 follows the language picked in Settings → System → Language, or the PS4's own.

Install

Install M33-v1.02.pkg with GoldHEN's Package Installer, on top of 1.01: your games, saves and settings in /data/March33/ stay as they are.

M33 1.01

@iHaiDeeZ iHaiDeeZ released this 18 Oct 19:43

Fixed

  • Starting some games from M33's game list (or the Recent tab) with the PSP firmware installed could stop at the firmware offering a system update instead of starting the game (seen with God of War: Ghost of Sparta). M33 now hides the disc's update data from the firmware during that boot, so the game boot plays and the game starts.

Install

Install M33-v1.01.pkg with GoldHEN's Package Installer, on top of 1.00: your games, saves and settings in /data/March33/ stay as they are.

@iHaiDeeZ iHaiDeeZ released this 18 Oct 04:03

The first release of M33 (March33): the PPSSPP PSP emulator for jailbroken PS4 consoles, as an app on the home screen.

Install

  1. Install M33-v1.00.pkg below with GoldHEN's Package Installer.
  2. Start M33 once: it creates /data/March33/.
  3. Put your games in /data/March33/games/ (.iso, .cso, .chd); homebrew and PSN games (EBOOT.PBP in their own folder) in /data/March33/PSP/GAME/.
  4. Optional, for the XMB and the game boot: Settings → System → PSP Firmware → Download PSP firmware 6.61 from Sony.

What's in it

  • PSP games at up to 4x resolution (1920x1088) with AMD FidelityFX sharpening
  • The PSP's own XMB and game boot with the PSP firmware installed (downloaded from Sony in one press)
  • A quick menu made for the controller (L3 + R3): save states with their pictures, cheats, rewind, frame generation, resolution, volume, FPS counter, all of PPSSPP's settings
  • Rewind like RetroArch's: hold L2
  • Frame Generation (experimental, off by default): games running at 30 shown at 60
  • Cheats from PPSSPP's CWCheat database, downloaded when first needed
  • RetroAchievements, and the PS4's own keyboard for text

Nothing copyrighted is bundled: no games, no firmware. Please only play games you own.
