• Stream parser output as bounded newline-delimited records, replacing the fixed 256 MiB buffered JSON transport. Add validated parserOutputLimitMiB (default 1024, range 1–8192) and preserve safe parser diagnostics in MCP session status.
• Install a user-local management CLI before Docker/WSL/database provisioning. Add database-independent system status, setup/start/restart recovery, explicit project registrations and non-destructive project disabling. Selected-project recovery indexes only that project.
• Add explicit --upgrade / -Upgrade bootstrap and installer support with backups, same-project validation and preserved database mode/settings. Document existing-install upgrades for all platforms in README.
• Report newer public releases through codememory updates and MCP status. Cache checks per process, tolerate offline operation, support opt-out and instruct assistants to ask before updating; never auto-install.
• Add regression coverage for output larger than 256 MiB, split UTF-8, truncated streams, error recovery, offline CLI registration and release notification policy. Full affected Windows project acceptance remains outstanding.
