Webb edited this page Mar 13, 2024 · 1 revision

Discord webhooks are an easy but effective way of logging and getting notified of any error that happens in a program or server. You can easily connect your AutoRAY server to a discord webhook to log activity on your server

Step 1: Install AutoRAY

Step 2: Create a Discord webhook

  • Create a Discord server if you don't already ahve one (You should have Admin permissions in the Discord server)
  • Create a channel if you don't already have one
  • Right-click on the channel in the sidebar of the server and choose Edit channel
  • Go to Integrations and click on Webhooks
  • It automatically creates a webhook for you (You can change the name and icon)
  • Click on Copy Webhook URL to copy the Webhook's address, You'll need it later

Step 3: Open AutoRAYhandler.py in a text editor

  • In Linux you can use nano, in Windows you can use Notepad

Step 4: Edit the webhook variable

  • It should look like this: webhook = None and you have to change it to webhook = "YOUR_WEBHOOK_URL"
  • Instead of "YOUR_WEBHOOK_URL" paste the URL that you copied in Discord

Restart/Start the program and AutoRAY will start logging actions to your Discord server
