Features
- Add-To-Cart. The Add-To-Cart feature allows visitors to add a product directly to their cart from a conversation with the Assistant. Its goal: to simplify the shopping experience without leaving the chat, by reducing frictions linked to traditional navigation.
- The Assistant recommends products to the visitor.
- The visitor clicks on "Add to cart" without leaving the conversation.
- The product is immediately added to the cart on your e-commerce website.
- A confirmation message is displayed in the conversation.
- Scroll-to-bottom button. When the conversation is not scrolled to bottom, a button appears to quickly reach the bottom of the conversation.
- Exposed the SDK activation status.
IAdvizeSDK.activationStatus() - Typed the whole JavaScript API. Listener payloads, custom data and push notification payloads are no longer
any, and every method carries documentation your editor can show. Callbacks written against the previousanysignatures keep compiling.
Bug fixes
- Fixed the published
typesentry point.package.jsonpointed atlib/typescript/index.d.tswhile the declarations were emitted underlib/typescript/src/, so TypeScript consumers got no types for the plugin. - Fixed the
ChatboxConfigurationsecondary color, which never reached the native SDKs: the field was declared assecondaryolorwhile both bridges readsecondaryColor. SeeUPGRADING.md. - Fixed
ongoingConversationId()on iOS, which returnednullwith no ongoing conversation while Android returned an empty string and the type promised a string. It now returns an empty string on both platforms. - (Android) Fixed conversation history loss after consecutive logouts.
- (iOS) Fixed a display issue that sometimes affected streamed messages.
Dependencies
This version moves to React Native 0.87 and requires Android Gradle Plugin 9 — see UPGRADING.md for the two gradle.properties flags you need to add and the exact toolchain floors.
- React Native
0.85.3>0.87.1 - React
19.2.3(unchanged — 0.87.1 ships the same version) - Node minimum
22.11.0>22.13.0 - React Native Community CLI
20.1.0>20.2.0 - Android Gradle Plugin
8.13.2>9.2.1 - Gradle
9.3.1>9.4.1 - Android Compile SDK
36>37, Build Tools36.0.0>37.0.0 - Kotlin
2.2.21>2.2.0(aligned with the React Native 0.87 template) - TypeScript
5.8.3>6.0.3 - react-native-builder-bob
0.37.0>0.43.0 - react-native-safe-area-context
5.5.2>5.9.1 - Glide
5.0.5>5.0.9 - Minimum iOS version
13.4>15.0. The podspec still declared 13.4 while the native iOS SDK has required iOS 15 since 3.0.0. React Native 0.87 already builds against 15.1, so nothing changes for a project generated from its template.
