Schematic and routing of new design is done

I ordered a lab bench power supply from China which may take a while to come in. Creating a prototype for this BMS and testing it will be expensive and time consuming, so it may not be done for a while. This new design uses a bq3060 which has a hardware implementation of the SMBus protocol. If this test is successful I may continue work on the software implementation, since it would me much cheaper to manufacture.
