MCPBridge - Release Notes
Available on Windows & macOS (however my mac is outta commission so you gotta wait fr)
MCPBridge is a desktop installer and dashboard that connects Claude Code and Ollama to your creative tools via the Model Context Protocol. Point it at your files, click Apply Changes, and your entire pipeline is wired up - no manual JSON editing required.
🆕 What's New: Blender Support
MCPBridge now bridges Claude directly into Blender. The app auto-detects your Blender scripts/addons folder and a new suite of MCP tools gives Claude full access to your scene:
blender_execute_python- runbpycode directly in Blenderblender_get_scene_info- inspect objects, active selection, and render settingsblender_get_output- read recent plugin outputollama_generate_python- generate and optionally execute Blender Python for any task
The Blender plugin connects on localhost:7843 alongside the existing Roblox bridge on :7842, both served from the same unified mcpbridge MCP server entry - no port conflicts, no duplicate config.
If you're upgrading from a previous version with separate
roblox-ollamaorblender-mcpentries in yourclaude.json, clicking Apply Changes will automatically consolidate them into the singlemcpbridgeentry.
What MCPBridge Does
For Roblox Studio - read, write, and create scripts, execute Lua, inspect your workspace, and pull live output, all from Claude Code prompts.
For Blender - manipulate scenes, generate and run Python via bpy, and query render settings without ever leaving your terminal.
For Ollama - browse available cloud models directly in the dashboard, generate completions, review scripts for bugs, and generate target-specific code (Lua or Python) in one step.
Installer features - auto-detects index.js, OllamaMCP.lua, and the Blender addon folder across both platforms. Backs up your claude.json before every write. Logs startup crashes automatically for easy debugging.
