SnapText v1.1.1 — First Public Release

We're pleased to introduce the first public release of SnapText, a lightweight Windows desktop application for capturing screenshots and extracting text using OCR.

Features

• Capture screenshots and select rectangular regions.
• Import images for text extraction.
• Save and copy captured images.
• Extract recognized text and copy the result to the clipboard.

• Windows 11

Installation

1. Download the Windows installer attached below.
2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Launch SnapText from the installed application or Start menu.

Notes

OCR accuracy depends on the text, image quality, and recognition languages supported by the Windows OCR engine. Multilingual recognition may vary by language and system configuration.

This is the first public release. Please report bugs and compatibility issues through the repository's Issues page.
