Stable public release of Codex Pro Dispatch: a macOS desktop skill that delegates one bounded Codex assignment to a dedicated, user-confirmed ChatGPT Pro conversation with at-most-one native send, collect-only recovery, same-worker continuation, and independent result verification.

Requirements:

  • Official ChatGPT desktop app with Codex on macOS
  • ChatGPT Pro selectable in a dedicated Chat conversation
  • Current Codex CLI with plugin marketplace support
  • Python 3.9 or newer
  • GitHub connector only for repository-write assignments; prompt-only work needs none

Release verification:

  • Native A–K acceptance matrix passed on ChatGPT/Codex desktop 26.820.60940 build 7119
  • 63 local tests passed
  • macOS and Ubuntu CI passed
  • Disposable ChatGPT Pro GitHub connector branch and commit independently verified
  • Protected main remained unchanged during connector proof
