Barrier 3.4.7 publishes the macOS Magic Keyboard forwarding delivered across 3.4.2–3.4.6 and fixes the audited macOS packaging path.

Bug fixes

  • Forwarded every macOS server key to the client while the pointer is on the client display. Lone Fn/Globe presses; left/right Command, Option, Shift, and Control; brightness; and modifiers held across a screen switch now reach the selected client. Only registered Barrier hotkeys stay on the server.
  • Forwarded the Magic Keyboard Globe-tap, Spotlight, Dictation, and Do Not Disturb pseudo-keys (key codes 179, 177, 176, and 178) with matching client synthesis and SecondaryFn flags.
  • Normalized source-built Qt framework runpaths and removed build-machine-only absolute runpaths before the release audit, enabling the verified public disk image.

Known limitation

F5/Dictation forwarding is best-effort. macOS accepts the forwarded key packet but may ignore synthesized Dictation input because that subsystem handles the key below the normal event-injection layer. Fn/Globe input-source switching, F4/Spotlight, and F6/Do Not Disturb were verified on the target Mac.
