Shui’s first public release candidate for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 26 or later. This is a prerelease for testing before the first stable version.

Install

Download Shui.dmg, open it, and drag Shui into Applications. The app and disk image are Developer ID signed, notarized and stapled.

What to try

  • Open FloatChat from the menu bar and share notes or files alongside your work.
  • Create a channel or invite someone into a direct conversation. Each participant needs Shui.
  • Share voice notes, video messages, screenshots and screen recordings.
  • Explore the main window’s Card and List layouts.

Candidate limitations

  • Apple Silicon only; Intel Macs are not supported by this build.
  • This candidate is not distributed through the stable update feed or Homebrew. Install newer release candidates manually.
  • Please report bugs through Issues, including your macOS version and steps to reproduce. Do not include private conversations, credentials or files.
