Release list
CA-72 0.1.0
The first release of the CA-72, a synthesizer plug-in (VST3 and CLAP) for macOS, Windows and Linux whose voice is modelled from the circuit of a 1970s analogue synthesizer: monophonic like the instrument, or one whole instrument per note with POLY.

Install
| Computer | Download |
|---|---|
| macOS 11 or later, Apple silicon or Intel | CA-72-0.1.0-macOS.pkg (signed and notarised) |
| Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit | CA-72-0.1.0-Windows-setup.exe |
| Linux, x86-64 (Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12, Fedora 36 or later) | CA-72-0.1.0-Linux-x86_64.tar.gz: unpack it and run ./install.sh |
Run the installer, then rescan your host's plug-ins. The Windows installer is not yet signed: the first time, Windows says "Windows protected your PC"; click More info, then Run anyway.
SHA256SUMS.txt lists the checksums of the installers and the sources archive. THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt holds the licences of the works built into the plug-ins; CA-72-0.1.0-git-sources.tar.gz holds the sources of the few crates the plug-ins take from git repositories rather than crates.io. The CA-72's own source is this repository at the tag v0.1.0.
In this release
- The voice derived from SPICE simulations of the instrument's boards, in real time.
- POLY: up to ten whole instruments, one per note, each with its own drift (ENTROPY) and place in the stereo field (SPREAD).
- FEEDBACK: the phones output patched back into the external input, as players do.
- 24 factory presets, a presets library with favourites, tags and search.
- A resizable panel drawn natively, the same on every system.
