What's in this release

First public release of ticket-context-cli — a CLI tool that pulls your active Jira sprint tickets and generates rich Markdown context files for Claude Code and other AI coding assistants.

Features

  • tix configure — Set up Jira credentials once, stored securely at ~/.config/ticket-context/config.json
  • tix health — Check credentials status and test live Jira connection
  • tix link <PROJECT-KEY> — Link any repo to a Jira project in one command
  • tix sprint — List your active sprint tickets in a table, scoped to the linked project
  • tix branch <KEY> — Create a git branch, link the ticket, and save a Markdown context file automatically
  • tix context [KEY] — Fetch or refresh context for the current branch's linked tickets
  • tix move <STATUS> — Transition tickets to a new status, auto-detected from the current branch
  • tix statuses — List all available statuses for the linked project

Claude Code Integration

A SKILL.md is written to .claude/skills/ticket-context/ automatically. Claude Code reads it at session start — no manual configuration needed.
