v1.2.1 — Freeze fix

Fixed

  • No more freezing Live on long sources. When a brain source spanned a
    long arrangement, SampleBrain rendered and analysed the whole thing, then
    the synthesis ran long enough to lock the dialog — and with it all of Live
    (Escape stopped responding). Analysis is now capped to the first 30s of each
    source/target, so the plugin stays responsive no matter how long your tracks
    are. (Need more material? MAX_SOURCE_SECONDS in the source is the one knob.)
  • Sample Design no longer re-synthesises in a loop when toggling sources or
    switching tabs — repeated triggers are debounced and stale renders dropped.
  • Version label is now accurate. It used to be hard-coded; it now reflects
    the actual installed build.

Install: download SampleBrain-1.2.1.ablx, double-click, restart Live.
Requires Ableton Live 12 Suite.
