stitch images without Panono website

With Panono going bankrupt, im worried the stitching back end they have will no longer be available. Will this software allow me to auto stich images as well? If not, do you happen to have any idea how I might go about auto stitching the images without the panono back end? I know it is still up at the moment, but i fear it is just a matter of time until it is gone, and I wish to continue to use my panono for some time to come. Many thanks in advance

This app does not do anything aside from downloading data (which includes already-stitched JPGs and UPF image packages, the latter being what your Panono camera ball captures).

Googling "panono manual stitching" may turn up additional tips or instructions about the process.

As far as the fate of Panono's online servers, a 3rd party business appears to have taken over ownership of the company, and the new owners are to keep the online stitching service running. I don't know any further details, nor, even, how correct the above statements are. Check their forums and press releases out for a better (if ultimately incomplete) idea on what's happening.
