Releases: iewnfod/lumina-code

v0.7.1

Choose a tag to compare

@iewnfod iewnfod released this 25 Oct 15:54
bbc48b8

✨ Features

  • Subagent asks in the parent conversation — Permission requests and questions from background subagents now show as answerable cards in the conversation you're watching; badges and notifications attribute to the parent session. Previously such asks were invisible and the subagent stayed blocked.
  • Self-service MCP & plugin config — New managed /mcp and /plugin commands, plus on-demand config guides when you ask things like "add an MCP server": the model edits the JSON config directly (hot-reloaded) instead of hitting dead ends.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Dev project picker — No longer lists daily sessions' document folders under LuminaWorkspace/Sessions/ as project candidates.
  • Boot git probe — The dev-mode git probe now runs at the connection level (it never fired on mobile) and a flaky probe no longer kicks a restored dev session back to the welcome screen.

🎨 Polish

  • Token breakdown card — Click the run footer's ↑/↓ token readout to see the details: input, cache read/write, reasoning, cost.
  • Usage page on mobile — Adapts to phone widths; header slimmed down.

v0.7.0

Choose a tag to compare

@iewnfod iewnfod released this 23 Oct 17:48
bd3f3cd

0.7.0 introduces Daily mode for non-developers, AI-powered Word/PPT document creation with in-app previews, a Plugins & MCP manager, a Usage page, and a full-page Settings.

✨ Features

  • Daily mode — A Daily / Dev switch in the sidebar. Daily mode needs no project picking: a fixed workspace at ~/Documents/LuminaWorkspace, per-session document folders, and the stats panel shows documents instead of a git diff. Git-less machines get Daily mode only.
  • Mode-aware sessions & greetings — Each mode remembers its open session and restores it on switch; welcome greetings adapt to the mode.
  • AI reads & writes Office documents — New write_document / read_document tools: the AI creates real .docx/.pptx files from structured blocks and extracts existing ones back to markdown.
  • Document & image previews — The workspace panel lists a session's documents with new/changed chips; docx opens as a themed flow, pptx as 16:9 slide cards, images preview their pixels. Office links in replies are clickable chips into the same preview.
  • Plugins & MCP manager — Enable/disable every plugin and MCP server in Settings → Extensions (hot-reloaded), with per-server log viewing.
  • Usage statistics — New Usage tab: model-share donut, per-model daily trends, 7/30-day ranges.
  • Settings as a full page — The settings modal became a main-area page with a tab rail (desktop) and sliding pages (mobile); entry at the sidebar's bottom-left.

⚡ Performance

  • Leaner agent harness — Daily sessions run a compact plan protocol for smaller context footprints; a runtime anti-loop detector warns the model on repeated errors or tool-only stalls.
  • Turn token readout — Run footers show ↑ context footprint and ↓ output tokens + cost, with hover breakdowns.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • "Stop and send" (⚡) reliability — Expedited queue rows survive the interrupt sweep and reliably re-send in the first idle window.
  • Daily workspace on non-English systems — wc's localized summary row (e.g. "total" in zh_CN) is no longer listed as a document; Windows falls back to PowerShell.

🎨 Polish

  • Refreshed mode-switch and sidebar styling, visual polish on the Settings and Usage pages.

Full Changelog: v0.6.2...v0.7.0

v0.6.2

Choose a tag to compare

@iewnfod iewnfod released this 20 Oct 01:31
46edef7

0.6.2 syncs the prompt queue across devices, keeps failed sends retryable, adds a loading screen, and ships a tablet layout plus image compression on mobile. The companion server is now lumina-code-server.

✨ Features

  • Server-synced prompt queue — Prompts queued while the AI is running now live on the server: every client sees the same queue, it survives restarts, and entries send automatically when the run ends. Drag-reorder, edit and "stop and send" still work.
  • Retryable failed sends — A dead network no longer drops your message: the bubble stays with a "Failed to send" + retry. Uploads time out after 120s instead of hanging forever.
  • Loading screen — Covers the window until the app is actually ready (connected, sessions and models loaded). Desktop only shows it past 1s, so fast starts never see it.
  • Tablet layout (mobile) — Screens ≥600px get the full desktop layout automatically; connection and touch behavior unchanged. Pinnable in Settings → General → Layout (phone / auto / tablet).
  • Image compression (mobile) — Photos are compressed before upload (2048px, JPEG 0.85 — 3–8MB becomes 0.3–0.8MB; HEIC normalized). Desktop keeps originals.
  • Device-labelled tokens (server) — Each login shows its device on the account page ("desktop (myhost)", "mobile (Pixel 9)"), so you know which token to revoke.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Image divert for text-only models survives flaky links — the target directory is remembered across restarts, so images no longer degrade to inline parts the provider rejects.
  • Running subagents reappear in the stats panel after a reconnect or cold start (missed spawn frames are backfilled).
  • Android: no more light scrim over the bottom nav bar; day/night switches repaint the system bars correctly.
  • Plan approval / review cards are no longer dismissed by the stats panel's auto-collapse.

🔧 Chores

  • lumina-server renamed to lumina-code-server (Docker: iewnfod/lumina-code-server; compose updated — pull the new name).
  • Server console is role-scoped: regular users see only their own route; admins keep the full overview.
  • Android release pipeline fixes: signing alias read from the keystore, keystore path fix, pnpm-routed gradle callback, setup-android v4.
  • Internal: split large files and deduplicated logic — no behavior change.

v0.6.1

Choose a tag to compare

@iewnfod iewnfod released this 19 Oct 05:52
db90f0c

0.6.1 ships the mobile app as a signed APK right on the release page, syncs your sessions across every Lumina Code client, and adds a custom system prompt.

✨ Features

  • Android APK on the release page — No more building from source: a signed Lumina.Code_0.6.1_android-arm64.apk is attached to this release (arm64 only for now). Download, install, sign in to your lumina-server, and your desktop's sessions are live on the phone.
  • Sessions everywhere — A session started on your phone or in a second desktop window now appears in every Lumina Code sidebar automatically — no manual import. Sessions created by other tools (TUI/CLI) still wait for an explicit import.
  • Custom system prompt — Settings → General gains a system-prompt editor: your text is appended to every conversation, on top of AGENTS.md and the built-in instructions.
  • Subagent drill-down — Click a subagent in the transcript to open its live transcript in the side panel; running subagents now show up in the panel reliably mid-run instead of appearing only after they finish.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Android back gesture — Back now closes the topmost thing on screen (drawer, menus, dialogs, settings pages) instead of exiting the app; exiting happens only at the root, as Android expects.
  • No more accidental deletes — Mobile session rows lost their hover-revealed ✕ (touch would trigger it mid-tap); deleting a session moved to a dedicated ⋯ menu in the title bar.
  • Mobile no longer calls desktop-only backend commands at startup, and server sign-in traffic now uses the phone's native network stack — fewer errors and faster reconnects.

🎨 Polish

  • Mobile: the stats panel opens as a full-height sheet over the conversation; the welcome screen's model/mode/branch controls cluster below the composer instead of crowding one row; popovers realign to stay on screen on narrow displays; opening a screen no longer auto-focuses the input (no surprise keyboard).

🔧 Chores

  • App settings and preferences moved from webview storage to a file under the app data dir — more robust, and migrated automatically on first launch.

Full Changelog: v0.6.0...v0.6.1

v0.6.0

Choose a tag to compare

@iewnfod iewnfod released this 18 Oct 07:02
47b315f

0.6.0 is the mobile release: Lumina Code on Android, and remote access rebuilt as a direct connection to your desktop. Self-hosters: update your lumina-server deployment (see server/README.md) before enabling remote access.

✨ Features

  • Android app — The full Lumina Code experience on your phone: live-streaming conversations, the complete composer, model switching and settings — driving your desktop's opencode from anywhere. The UI adapts to the phone (drawer sidebar, sliding settings pages, keyboard-aware composer). Currently Android only; the app builds from source under mobile/.
  • Remote access, rebuilt — Flip one switch in Settings → Server and your desktop becomes reachable through your self-hosted lumina-server. Phones connect directly to the desktop with near-zero added latency, and session content never touches the server — the old mirror sync is gone. Also works behind Cloudflare.
  • Live connection status — The Server settings now show the remote-access state (connecting / connected / error) at a glance, so a dead route is instantly visible.
  • Server console: connected desktops — The overview page lists every connected desktop with its route and an online/offline badge.
  • About pane — The OpenCode row now shows the live connection state and the version reported by the server itself, instead of a spawn-time snapshot.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed sign-in and server connection failures on some proxy or public-Wi-Fi networks — desktop↔server traffic now bypasses the webview's network stack entirely.
  • Fixed the mobile app showing an empty sidebar when connecting while the desktop route was still coming up; dropped connections and rotated passwords now recover automatically.

🎨 Polish

  • Mobile: proper app icon, a thumb-friendly composer toolbar on narrow screens, and tighter gutters so conversations get more width.

🔧 Chores

  • lumina-server is now published as a Docker image (iewnfod/lumina-code-server) with a one-file docker-compose production setup.

Full Changelog: v0.5.0...v0.6.0

v0.5.0

Choose a tag to compare

@iewnfod iewnfod released this 15 Oct 09:47
094f277

✨ Features

  • Lumina Server (self-hosted sync, v1) — New companion server (one Docker container: Next.js + SQLite) hosting accounts and a session-mirror API. The desktop app gains a Server tab in Settings; the agent always runs locally — only transcripts are mirrored, keys and code never leave your machine.
  • Worktree write-back — Branch-bound sessions can now push AI edits to your local branch in one click; diverged branches refuse with the exact merge command to run by hand.
  • Import external sessions — Sessions created by the TUI/CLI (or another instance sharing the same storage) can join Lumina Code via the sidebar's new Import row.
  • Code block copy button — Hover any code block to copy its raw text.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Stop means stop — Prompts typed mid-run no longer resurrect after an interrupt; the pending inbox is swept, and stop-and-send delivers as the next turn's opener instead of steering.
  • Default-branch detection — The branch picker reads the remote HEAD to badge the true default; the current branch sorts to the top, and selecting it means the main worktree.

🎨 Polish

  • Sharper English welcome greetings (by @RararXD)

🔧 Chores

  • CI for the server workspace + docker-compose.yml for deployment.

Full Changelog: v0.4.0...v0.5.0

v0.4.0

Choose a tag to compare

@iewnfod iewnfod released this 05 Oct 02:54
e9ba7c1

✨ Features

  • Branch-bound sessions (git worktrees) — Pick a branch before the first prompt; the session runs in an isolated git worktree, so agent edits never touch your checkout. The repo's current branch is the default (main worktree). The title bar now shows the current branch, and worktree sessions group under " · " in the sidebar.
  • Queued prompts — Typing mid-run queues the prompt instead of steering it. Queued rows sit above the composer (reorder / send now / edit / remove) and flush one by one when the run ends; stopping clears the queue.
  • Session whitelist — The sidebar only lists sessions created in Lumina Code; TUI/CLI sessions sharing the same storage no longer appear.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Identical permission asks (e.g. several files in the same external directory) merge into one card; request cards now float above the composer instead of hiding it, and zombie cards after racing replies are gone.
  • Fixed phantom scroll fades eating the first line of user bubbles on nested scroll surfaces; attachment previews only fade the bottom edge when content actually scrolls.
  • CEF: restored the rounded corner chrome at the sidebar seam.

🎨 Polish

  • New rows in live lists (freshly edited files, new shells/subagents, appended plan tasks) unfurl in smoothly; history stays instant.
  • Stats card crossfades on cross-directory session switches instead of hard-cutting.
  • Friendlier English welcome greetings (by @RararXD)

🔧 Chores

  • Release/publish pipeline fixes from the 0.3.0 CEF rollout: dotted asset names, CEF COPR spec %files, broken copr.yml.
  • README refresh (en / zh).

Full Changelog: v0.3.0...v0.4.0

v0.3.0

Choose a tag to compare

@iewnfod iewnfod released this 01 Oct 07:23
bb45f1e

✨ Features

  • Desktop notifications — get notified when a run finishes or needs your attention; three tiers plus focus mute in General settings.
  • Per-turn edit summary — run footers show "N files changed +A −D" with per-file rows that drill into the stats panel's diff.
  • GNOME Blur my Shell integration — one-click whitelist join gives the window real compositor blur on GNOME.
  • Draggable sidebar — drag the seam to resize, persists across restarts; double-click resets.
  • Unified styling — one token set behind all surfaces, cards, and chips for a consistent look.
  • OAuth device codes — verification codes for Grok / Copilot / Codex logins now shown as a copyable chip.
  • CEF variant (Linux, experimental) — a second build with bundled Chromium for better rendering; parallel-installable. See below.

CEF variant (Linux, experimental): Lumina.Code.CEF_* assets / lumina-code-cef-bin (AUR) / lumina-code-cef (COPR) use the bundled-Chromium renderer — better rendering and Web API compatibility, but built on tauri v3 alpha. Known limits: no transparent glass window, no AppImage yet. The default Lumina.Code_* assets remain the webkit build; regular users don't need to change anything.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed two app instances killing each other's OpenCode server on startup.
  • Fixed plan/work approval gates staying frozen forever after a crash or restart.
  • Hid the empty models section on never-connected providers.
  • Fixed stats panel drill-down views getting cut off instead of scrolling.

🎨 Polish

  • Circular icon buttons in the stats panel header.
  • Tighter hover tooltips; "still working" indicator moved out of the bottom fade band.

🔧 Chores

  • CI/release pipeline now builds and publishes the CEF variant (AUR/COPR included).
  • Persisted preferences unified over one storage factory.

v0.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@iewnfod iewnfod released this 28 Sep 08:58
522f085

✨ Features

  • Dual-gate plan workflow — Plans persist as documents under .lumina/tasks/ and live-track task progress; finishing work now requires explicit user acceptance before being archived to .lumina/archived/
  • Attachment previews — Image and file attachments in messages are clickable: images expand inline, text and code files render as highlighted source
  • Edit last message — Load the last prompt back into the composer, edit it, and resend; the turn's file changes are undone and replayed

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed auto-scroll-to-bottom dying mid-stream and history loads jumping the viewport
  • Fixed markdown tables stretching full width and code blocks fading their first characters at rest
  • Fixed streamed output being hard-cut at the scroller's bottom edge

🎨 Polish

  • App-wide tiered edge fades on scroll regions — each side fades only when content is actually hidden
  • The transcript shows an immediate "Stopping" state when interrupting a run

🔧 Chores

  • Release pipeline hardening: asset-derived package versions, verbatim-tag source URLs, bsdtar rpm inspection, AUR options=(!strip)
