v0.0.1
v0.0.1 — First Public Release
iForge — A task-driven, lightweight self-hosted Git platform that deeply integrates project management with code development.
Most Git platforms treat "code hosting" and "project management" as separate modules — you manage tasks in Jira and code in GitHub/GitLab, manually maintaining the connection. iForge's core design philosophy is Task-Driven Development: every code change is traceable to a business requirement.
✨ Key Highlights
| Feature | iForge | Traditional Platforms |
|---|---|---|
| 🔗 Branch = Task | Create dev branches from task cards with auto-binding | Manual branch creation, disconnected from tasks |
| 📝 Commit = Record | Just commit normally, changes auto-tracked in task timeline | Must manually reference task IDs in commit messages |
| 🔀 MR = Delivery | Merge requests linked to tasks, status auto-updated on merge | Manually update task status after merge |
| 📊 Board = Overview | Drag tasks on kanban, real-time dev progress | Switch between multiple systems |
🚀 Features

- CI/CD — Pipelines, Docker sandbox isolation, external Runner support
