The companion web app. Highlights:
- A browser page per definition — ask the session for one and it scaffolds a page into the definition's home, served by the plugin on 127.0.0.1 behind a per-run link. Sliders and panels push into Grasshopper; every solve pushes back into the page's 3D view, drawings and figures. Using it needs no Claude session: open the
.ghand press Open app. - In step both ways, one undo step per gesture — a drag marks where it begins and ends, so a slow drag is one ctrl-Z, the same as a fast one. The page interacts while its definition is the front Grasshopper tab; from a background tab it keeps reading and streaming, and says so.
- The .ify app kit — design tokens, component styles, three OFL fonts, a headless sync library, and a 3D viewport on vendored three.js with named views, per-item colours, and a camera path a page can drive itself. No CDN, nothing leaves the machine.
- A baked HTML report — one button saves a self-contained file: inputs at capture, watched outputs, viewport images, charts inlined, fonts embedded, zero network to open.
- 22 canvas tools — a whole-definition wiring graph, rename and layout tools, three more control kinds, a socket plate with Build and Open app, per-file panel state, and arguments checked against each tool's schema before anything runs.
- A lesson gate — a scaffolded Stop hook blocks ending a session that changed the canvas without recording a lesson, once. Every check is a local file test.
A companion app built this way is public: halo.ifylab.dev runs a tensegrity definition as a browser page.
Upgrading: 0.2.0 no longer connects to current Claude Code, since the MCP protocol moved under it; the Package Manager updates existing installs on their next Rhino start.
Install: Rhino 8 (SR18 or newer) on Windows — _PackageManager, search "wireify". Requires Claude Code on a paid plan. Full details in CHANGELOG.md.
