Athena Randomizer v0.20
New Veilbreak Gamemode 'VCC'
Veilbreak is Ignite’s 2v2 Base Game + DLC Bingo format, played on the Athena Randomizer.
The goal of Veilbreak is to bring the full scope of Elden Ring into a competitive Bingo setting. To make that possible, the format includes major changes to progression, routing, starting access, and key game logic across both the base game and the DLC.
Players begin with expanded early resources, randomized regional grace access, and progression-based unlocks designed to make full-game Bingo both viable and competitive.
Initial Starting Conditions
At the start of a Veilbreak run, players begin with the following:
- Start in Roundtable Hold
- Start with 10,000 runes
- Smithing costs are reduced to 1 stone per level
- Start with the Whetstone Knife
- Start with the Dark Moon Ring
- Start with the Cursemark of Death
- Start with the Flask of Wondrous Physick
- Start with Scadutree Blessing Level 5
Roundtable Hold & Bernie Bingo
Starting in Roundtable Hold is only one of the major changes introduced in Veilbreak.
- The door to Enia is open by default
- A new NPC, Bernie Bingo, has been added to the room with the Twin Maiden Husks
Bernie Bingo
Bernie Bingo exists to provide support for the difficult fights and routing demands that Veilbreak introduces.
Important: Purchasing a talisman from Bernie Bingo removes that talisman’s overworld counterpart.

Liurnia
Liurnia uses a paired regional randomization system because of its size and layout.
Its starting graces are divided into four directional pools:
- North
- South
- East
- West
When Liurnia graces are rolled, the game selects one of two pairings:
- North + South
- East + West
This means:
- if a North grace is chosen, a South grace must also be chosen
- if an East grace is chosen, a West grace must also be chosen

- Road to the Manor
- Sorcerer’s Island
- East Gate Bridge Trestle

Progression Graces
Veilbreak includes several progression-based grace unlock systems to smooth out routing and improve full-game accessibility.
Dectus Progression
To make Dectus a stronger progression path, picking up one medallion half unlocks the opposite fort’s grace.
- Picking up the Dectus Left half unlocks Fort Faroth
- Picking up the Dectus Right half unlocks Fort Haight
Important: This only works in one direction.
If you pick up one medallion half first, you will receive the grace tied to the opposite fort. Picking up the second half later does not retroactively grant the first fort’s grace.
Example:
If you pick up the medallion at Fort Haight first, you unlock Fort Faroth.
If you later pick up the medallion at Fort Faroth, you will not then receive Fort Haight.
Be sure to grab the grace at the first fort you visit if you need it.
Altus Progression
Reaching Altus Plateau is a major progression breakpoint in Veilbreak.
The first time a player activates any qualifying Altus progression grace, they receive the following:
- Outer Wall Battleground
- Road of Iniquity
- Craftsman’s Shack
- Snow Valley Ruins Overlook
- Inner Consecrated Snowfield
- Nameless Eternal City
- Lake of Rot Shoreside
- 3 Sacred Tears
Qualifying Altus Progression Graces
Touching any of the following graces triggers Altus progression:
- Altus Plateau
- Erdtree-Gazing Hill
- Abandoned Coffin
- Altus Highway Junction
- Seethewater River
- Shaded Castle Ramparts
- Shaded Castle Inner Gate
- Outer Wall Phantom Tree
- Outer Wall Battleground
- Forest-Spanning Greatbridge
- Bower of Bounty
Haligtree Access
Two changes have been made to improve Haligtree progression:
- The Ordina puzzle barrier has been removed for smoother access
- The puzzle itself can still be entered through the evergaol, but the portal barrier is no longer blocking progression
Additionally:
- Touching Haligtree Canopy unlocks Elphael Inner Wall
Mohgwyn Access
The Mohgwyn Palace warp in the Consecrated Snowfield has been changed.
- The portal now sends players directly to the Dynasty Medallion destination
- The Sanguine Noble invader must still be defeated or despawned before the portal can be activated
Crumbling Farum Azula Access
Farum Azula progression has also been streamlined.
- Touching Foot of the Forge unlocks Crumbling Beast Grave
- Touching Dragon Temple unlocks:
- Dragon Temple Rooftop
- Beside the Great Bridge
- Dragon Temple Rooftop
