Settings → Devices & Services → Add Integration → search "htd", "lync", "lync6" or "lync12" → HTD Lync Pro.
| Connection | Settings |
|---|---|
| Network gateway (GW-SL1) | Gateway IP, port 10006
|
| Direct RS-232 | Device path, e.g. /dev/ttyUSB0
|
The integration auto-detects the model (Lync 6 / Lync 12), the firmware, and pulls zone names and source names from the unit — devices are created with your real room names.
Integration entry → ⋮ → Reconfigure. Never delete/re-add — that would create new entities and break automations. Reconfigure keeps everything.
| Option | Default | Meaning |

| Doorbell restore | on | Restore zone power/source/volume after the doorbell chime. |
| Max power-on volume | 0 |
Clamp a zone that turns on louder than this (keypad 0-60). 0 = off. |
| Quiet-hours volume / window |
0, 22:00–07:00 |
Tighter power-on cap during the window. |
| Announcement player / TTS entity | — | Defaults for htd_lync_pro.announce. |
| Tone encoding | signed |
Leave on signed for firmware v3. |
The GW-SL1 gateway serves one TCP client. Don't point two Home Assistant instances (or HA + the HTD app in serial-bridge mode) at it simultaneously.
