v2.1.2
Changed
MCP Registry identity moved to com.execbro/execbro (previously io.github.igorzheludkov/execbro).
The registry ties a server's namespace to how its maintainer authenticates — io.github.* requires a GitHub identity, com.<domain> requires proving control of the domain. ExecBro now authenticates by signing a challenge against an apex TXT record on execbro.com, which better reflects a product with its own domain than a personal GitHub handle.
Nothing about installing or running ExecBro changes. The npm package is still execbro, npx execbro is unchanged, and every existing MCP client configuration continues to work untouched. This affects registry discovery only.
If you found ExecBro through the MCP Registry, the old listing stays visible with versions up to 2.1.1 but will not receive further updates — the registry has no redirect. Search for com.execbro/execbro for current releases.
