Here is a step-by-step guide on how to transform standard armor pieces into custom clothing.
For crafting recipes of custom items and blocks, check out the Crafting Recipes page!
- Armor to tailor (Vanilla or MOD armor are both supported)
- Matching Pattern item for the corresponding armor piece
- Red, Blue, and Green Dyes (Vanilla items)
- Design Bench (Block)
- Tailoring Bench (Block)
- Prepare a Pattern and draw your design.
- Place the Pattern and Armor into the Tailoring Bench to craft your custom clothing!
Craft the "Pattern" for the specific piece of clothing/armor you want to customize.
- Interact with the Design Bench.
- Place the prepared Pattern into the top-left slot of the Design Bench. The grid for that specific clothing part will appear in the editor, allowing you to start drawing.
- Draw your design! This is where your creativity shines. If you get stuck or want a standard base, click the "TEMPLATES" button on the bottom-left to load a template for that part. For details on editor usage, see the Editor Page.
- Save your design using the button at the bottom-right of the editor. Optionally, you can name your pattern using the input field above the save button.
- Interact with the Tailoring Bench.
- Insert: ① Pattern, ② Armor, and ③ Red, Blue, and Green Dyes into the Tailoring Bench. Note that 1 dye refills 100 units of ink, and each color tank can hold up to 3,200 units of ink.
- Once you have enough ink, click the "Tailor" button at the bottom-right to complete the process. Optionally, you can specify a name and serial number for the clothing using the input field above the button.
Check out the Bleaching Bench page for instructions on reverting your armor!
