Merged pull request

#65 - release: v1.9.0 UX, SEO, regression, and delivery overhaul

v1.9.0 objective

Make Gama3 Orderak modern, visually polished, and simple enough for a first-time or non-technical user while preserving the advanced collaborative ordering capabilities.

This PR supersedes #64. All 48 commits from fix/ux-seo-regression-v1-8-1 were preserved, then the repository was synchronized to v1.9.0 and all continuing work moved to release/1.9.0.

Product and UX

  • Reorders the dashboard around the clearest next actions instead of analytics.
  • Introduces a three-step journey: create a bucket, invite/manage people, and review/finalize orders.
  • Strengthens primary actions and reduces the visual weight of advanced controls.
  • Adds responsive modern styling, clearer hierarchy, larger touch targets, stronger focus states, safer mobile spacing, and simplified shell behavior.
  • Preserves buckets, items, prices, fees, roles, invitations, friend requests, groups, contributions, group orders, notifications, receipts, repeat orders, offline mode, English, Arabic, and RTL.

Landing pages, SEO, and sharing

  • Adds conversion-focused homepage copy and a concise Create → Share → Finalize explanation.
  • Reduces competing public navigation choices.
  • Improves title, description, canonical, locale alternatives, Open Graph, Twitter metadata, shared-image dimensions, secure image URL, and image alt metadata.
  • Keeps structured data, prerendering, localized public content, and static HTML generation aligned.

Firebase and GitHub Actions performance

  • Adds a change planner that skips Firebase for frontend/content/docs/test-only changes.
  • Deploys Firestore and Functions independently when only one target changed.
  • Detects isolated Function ownership and deploys only affected exports when safe.
  • Reuses the validated Functions build and retains full deployment for config, dependency, release, manual, or uncertain changes.
  • Keeps sequential quota-safe deployment and retry behavior.

AI executive-function framework

  • Adds objective and Definition-of-Done locking, scope classification, bounded investigation, retry/verification/critic budgets, evidence gates, deadlock/livelock recovery, context routing, durable memory, concise communication, and termination controls.
  • Adds JSON, schema, TOON, SJON, state-machine, generated runtime, skills, rules, architecture documentation, and tooling tests.
  • Integrates with the repository’s existing canonical knowledge architecture rather than creating a parallel system.

Release integrity

  • Root package, lockfiles, Firebase Functions, Android, and iOS are synchronized to 1.9.0.
  • Android: versionName 1.9.0, versionCode 16.
  • v1.9.0 changelog, release notes, UX plan, and validation matrix are included.

Regression scope

  • Public routes, locales, canonicals, hreflang, social cards, structured data, and noindex boundaries.
  • Login, signup, recovery, protected routes, session persistence, and logout.
  • Bucket creation/editing, items, quantities, prices, fees, totals, filtering, roles, and sharing.
  • Friend requests, groups, multi-user invitations, notifications, and read state.
  • Multi-participant contributions, order creation, finalization, placement, completion, cancellation, repeat ordering, and receipt snapshots.
  • Offline/reconnect, duplicate requests, concurrent updates, stale revisions, empty selections, and permissions.
  • Desktop, mobile, tablet, RTL/LTR, keyboard, focus, touch targets, dialogs, safe areas, long text, and overflow.

Required gates

  • Knowledge build and validation
  • Agent-document and translation checks
  • Formatting, lint, and TypeScript
  • Unit, component, tooling, coverage, and build
  • Firestore emulator and Functions validation when selected
  • Critical, social, responsive, cross-browser, and complete E2E
  • Release/version integrity
  • Preview deployment and production-like health checks
  • Authenticated multi-account regression

The PR remains draft until the final branch SHA has all mandatory gates green and no known blocking regression.

FoodOrderV1 v1.9.1

A focused UI/UX and delivery-speed release that makes ordering easier while preserving the advanced collaborative workflows.

Highlights

  • Reworked order creation into a guided three-step flow on one route: choose items, add notes, then review and confirm.
  • Added visible recent/frequent item autocomplete in bucket creation and editing, with a clear 🔥 indicator and frequency counts.
  • Refreshed both light and dark themes with warmer food-oriented colors, stronger hierarchy, clearer surfaces, and improved mobile behavior.
  • Rewrote key Egyptian Franco/Arabizi screens using natural mainstream wording and familiar product terms such as order, menu, group, share, invite, settings, and total.
  • Improved Firebase release planning so UI/content/i18n-only releases skip Firebase entirely, while Firebase changes still deploy only required targets when safe.
  • Kept the full release integrity, security, regression, Firebase rules, Functions, E2E, cross-browser, and APK gates.

Android APK

  • versionName 1.9.1
  • versionCode is incremented automatically by the repository release tooling.
  • SHA-256 is attached to the generated release artifact.

Security hardening

  • Closed the active js-yaml, uuid, PostCSS, Hono, brace-expansion, nanoid, and node-tar advisories by enforcing patched dependency floors, applying safe lockfile updates, and adding a permanent regression test.

Validation

  • Root npm audit reports zero vulnerabilities, and the Firebase Functions high-severity audit is green.
  • The dependency regression test rejects any future lockfile containing a version below the patched security floors.
  • Release/version integrity must be green across root, lockfiles, Functions, Android, and iOS.
  • All mandatory GitHub gates must pass on the final release SHA.
