EAIDK610 Armbian Edge image
Directly bootable Armbian Trixie Minimal image for OPEN AI LAB EAIDK-610.
- Linux: Armbian edge 7.2 with the EAIDK610 FUSB302 patch
- Audio: corrected RT5651 routes and MCLK, 40 dB onboard microphone boost, UCM input/output selection, and independent speaker mute; PipeWire/WirePlumber included
- U-Boot: upstream v2026.10-rc3 binman image at LBA 64; U-Boot FIT at LBA 16384
- Device tree: rockchip/rk3399-eaidk-610.dtb
- Type-C: Sink-preferred dual role; fixed 5V PD only (Source 1.8A, Sink 100mA interface budget); non-PD advertisement remains 1.5A
- Power qualification: independent 12V board supply required; one 5V PD contract and partner-initiated power-role swap tested; sustained 1.8A output and broader interoperability remain unqualified
- Kernel packages: image, DTB, headers, and libc development files
- USB Wi-Fi: RTL8812AU (0bda:8812) via the mainline rtw88_8812au module; firmware is supplied by the existing armbian-firmware package. Association and throughput remain hardware-unqualified.
- Board package: armbian-bsp-eaidk610-edge.deb, includes the default board overlay and eaidk610-typec userspace control tool
- CPU: overclocking is disabled by default; eaidk610-boot-setup --cpu-overclock on|off provides an explicit opt-in. Experimental A72 2.208GHz/1.325V and A53 1.800GHz/1.2875V; A72 voltage exceeds the datasheet absolute maximum and may damage hardware. Short workload tests are not long-term qualification.
- Migration: BSP includes eaidk610-boot-setup for explicit extlinux conversion; subsequent BSP upgrades refresh managed entries only
- U-Boot package: linux-u-boot-eaidk610-edge.deb; installing firmware files never flashes a disk automatically
- Boot: native extlinux, one entry, serial and display kernel logs
- Boot fixes: serial stdout-path and EAIDK610 Bluetooth firmware alias
- Board overlay: Type-C extcon/role switching, USB3 PHY orientation, headphone detection, and speaker amplifier GPIO
Verify the download with sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS, decompress it, then write the entire image to eMMC or removable media. This is a pre-release until the complete hardware regression matrix is finished.
