Fixer 0.4.0 (build 6) adds Light, Dark, and Follow System appearance choices.

Appearance

  • Open Setup → Appearance to choose a theme. Changes apply immediately to
open windows and are saved for the next launch.
  • Follow System is the default and follows changes to macOS appearance.
  • Dark mode uses warm charcoal surfaces, light text, and yellow accents across
Actions, Setup, Starter Library, History, and run feedback. Dividers and field
outlines stay subtle, with visible focus and selection indicators.

Updating and requirements

Quit Fixer, replace the existing app with this Fixer.app, and launch it. The
release keeps the same bundle identifier and storage locations for Actions,
Shortcuts, Dictation settings, the Gemini key in Keychain, and local History.
Existing History retention rules still apply at launch. macOS may ask for
Accessibility permission again after replacing an ad-hoc signed build.

Requires macOS 13 Ventura or later on an Apple Silicon or Intel Mac. Text and
voice processing require a personal Gemini API key, internet access, and
Accessibility permission. Microphone permission is needed only for voice.

Installation note

This beta is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. If macOS blocks it,
Control-click Fixer.app and choose Open, or use System Settings →
Privacy & Security → Open Anyway
. Do not disable Gatekeeper globally.
