Exactly How Much Can I Save on My Hydro Quebec bill?

The short answer is, it depends. If you set aside some comfort and you have a modern, well insulated home or a small home, you can expect to save a maximum of $22.71 per winter peak demand event. If the winter season has a maximum of 30 events, this comes to an annual credit of $683!.

On the other hand, if you have an older, potentially medium to large home, you may save up to $45 or more, per winter peak demand event. That totals $1,350 credit per winter season, or more -- a considerable credit!

I have compared since 2021, year over year, the credits based on HQ's Flex-D plan versus the WCO plan. The WCO plan is always more advantageous and carries no risk, whatsoever.
