Release list
0.1.0-56834285
Built from 0.1.0-56834285.
Assets
Longwave-…-unsigned.ipa— VNC + Audio only (Moonlight disabled). All MIT-compatible.Longwave-…-moonlight-unsigned.ipa— the Moonlight-enabled build (GPLv3 — see below).Longwave-visionOS-unsigned.ipa— the Moonlight build above without the broadcast extension, under a fixed name, which the visionOS source at https://apps.illixion.com installs and keeps updated (GPLv3).Longwave-iOS-unsigned.ipa— the iPhone and iPad app, with Moonlight (GPLv3). Install it through AltStore or SideStore from https://apps.illixion.com, which keeps it updated.LongwaveCompanion-…-unsigned.zip— the small macOS companion (menu-bar host: audio streaming, now-playing, broadcast/OBS, keyboard injection, SSH keys). Universal binary (Apple Silicon + Intel). MIT.LongwaveMac-…-unsigned.zip— the full macOS app: the VNC/Moonlight/Audio/SSH client plus all the companion host features in one app. Universal binary (Apple Silicon + Intel). Links Moonlight, so GPLv3 (see below).LongwaveCompanion-…-x64-Setup.exe/…-arm64-Setup.exe— if present, the Longwave Companion installer (Beta), built natively for Intel/AMD (x64) and Windows-on-ARM (arm64). Includes the Hotspot and native screen streaming host features, built entirely from this public source tree. PCVR / Foveated Streaming (CloudXR) support is a separate, closed-source component installed on top — the companion UI hides that panel entirely when it isn't present. Ships with a signed build-provenance attestation; verify before running withgh attestation verify <file> --repo illixion/Longwave.
Release signature. Shortly after this release is published, a SHA256SUMS covering every asset above plus a detached SHA256SUMS.sig are attached to it. That signature is made with an offline key that this workflow does not have — so it proves a human vouched for these exact bytes, which the provenance attestation (proving this workflow built them) cannot. Check any asset with:
scripts/verify-release.sh --tag 0.1.0-56834285If those two files are not on this release yet, it has not been signed — the Companion's in-app updater will not offer an unsigned release, by design.
Running the macOS apps
The macOS .zips are unsigned, so Gatekeeper blocks them on first launch
("damaged / can't be opened"). After unzipping into /Applications,
clear the quarantine flag and re-sign ad-hoc (substitute the app you
downloaded — LongwaveCompanion.app or LongwaveMac.app):
APP=/Applications/LongwaveMac.app # or LongwaveCompanion.app
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "$APP"
codesign --force --deep --sign - "$APP"Then open it normally. (If you build it yourself with a real Apple
Development identity, you can skip this.)
