This release is the biggest update ever in SoundOS' history:

What's new?

  • Everything has been rewritten from the ground up (using Avalonia & Skia for graphics)
  • Custom wallpaper support (Still in beta)
  • Supports resolutions up to 480p.
  • Play button placeholder widget has been changed to a pauze button.
  • Timer of the song's progress has been added.

Misc. Changes

  • Stability improvements for loading songs.
  • The network bars are now showing you how stable the connection is with the server instead of the signal strength.
  • Changed Audio engine from NAudio to CSCore.

Added more supported platforms:

  • Linux (x86 & ARM64 support)
  • Embedded Systems (Raspberry Pi 4 & 5 - Only tested Ubuntu!)
  • Windows on ARM (natively)

WARNING DO NOTE:

Due to the complexity of the rewrite & a lot of changes in both the framework & SDK, some features might not be available as of this release. I'm working hard to bring those features back & in a better state than where i left them.
