v3.4.1
v3.4.1 (2026-04-19) — Hotfix
Bug Fix
-
research-suite hook loading: remove redundant `"hooks": "./hooks/hooks.json"` key
from `plugins/research-suite/.claude-plugin/plugin.json`. The Claude Code harness
auto-loads `hooks/hooks.json` from every plugin, so the explicit manifest
reference caused `/reload-plugins` to fail with:Duplicate hooks file detected: ./hooks/hooks.json resolves to already-loaded
file. The standard hooks/hooks.json is loaded automatically, so manifest.hooks
should only reference additional hook files.Fix matches the pattern used by agent-core, dev-suite, and science-suite (none
of which declare `hooks` in their manifest).
Maintenance
- Version bump: coordinated 3.4.0 → 3.4.1 across all 11 canonical surfaces
(4 plugin manifests, marketplace.json, pyproject.toml, docs/conf.py, Makefile).
Forces plugin-cache refresh so users who installed v3.4.0 pick up the fix
automatically on `/plugin update`. - Present-tense content sweep: 13 additional content references in Sphinx
docs + READMEs bumped from "v3.4.0" → "v3.4.1" (version headers, badges,
`:version:` directives, MyClaude version claims in team-assemble). Historical
"removed in v3.4.0" / "moved in v3.4.0" event markers preserved.
Validator State
- metadata_validator: 0 errors / 0 warnings on all 4 suites
- doc_checker: 0 warnings across all 4 suites
- xref_validator: 531/531 valid
- context_budget_checker: 217/217 fit 200K budget
- pytest: 188/188 passing
- Security audit (pip-audit + gitleaks + bandit + vulture): clean
Upgrade path
From v3.4.0: run `/plugin update` (or `/plugin install research-suite@marketplace`).
No config changes needed. The broken `3.4.0/` plugin cache will coexist with the
fixed `3.4.1/` cache — safe to `rm -rf ~/.claude/plugins/cache/scientific-computing-workflows/research-suite/3.4.0`
after confirming the fix works.
