What's Changed

  • Bound HTML nesting, CSS variable expansion, and PNG decoding so excessive inputs fail cleanly instead of exhausting the renderer. Discard trapped WASM instances and create a fresh default renderer on the next call without retrying the failed document. By @imggion in #14
  • Honor resource resolver denials without fetching the original image or background URL. Preserve embedded SVG rendering and validation, with cross-browser regression coverage. By @imggion in #14
  • Update both README release badges and align the Zig/npm package versions to 0.3.1. By @imggion in #15

Rendering limits

Documents exceeding 64 nested elements are rejected. CSS var() expansion is limited to 64 KiB per value, 8 MiB cumulatively per cascade, and 65,536 substitutions. PNGs are limited to 16,777,216 pixels; alpha decompression must match the declared scanline size. These limits also apply to trusted documents and leave the renderer reusable after rejection.
