NoteFlow 1.7.0 closes the reliability issues found in the engineering audit.
Highlights
- Reminders stay visible until opened or dismissed. Their schedule remains in SQLite until acknowledgment, so a crash or closed app can retry the alert. These are in-app alerts, not operating-system notifications.
- Undo for bulk flags and tags is transactional and retryable. Trash Undo restores only notes moved by that action; permanent delete is limited to notes still in Trash.
- Backups skip malformed entries independently, report skipped and corrected records, and normalize extreme timestamps. Schema v3 repairs affected existing databases. Backup files are limited to 128 MB.
- Short Unicode searches now match accented case consistently; large pinned collections page with other notes.
- Update checks share in-flight work, and each update action is bound to the exact signed candidate it announced. Editor, autosave, and list races found in the audit are fixed.
Verification
106 frontend tests and 45 Rust tests pass. Typecheck, Rust formatting, and Clippy pass. Both Linux installers were built and launched in isolated desktop sessions; a packaged app saved and reopened a note. CI passed, and the release workflow passed.
Download the .deb for Debian-based distributions or the AppImage for other compatible Linux desktops. Signed updater artifacts and latest.json are attached below. See CHANGELOG.md for the full change list.
