The feature

I think it would be useful to have a section on albums/ that showcases every person that is present in this album, with a toggle to switch between showing all people or only already-named ones.

The usecase is for example sports photography, where every attendee gets pictures of himself at a specific event to purchase.
As of now, I have to browse every single foto and make a list somewhere else or browse every single person on /people.

I love the idea of person row inside each album page,
It can also be used to quickly show all the images of a specific person\s inside that album,
I have so many use cases for such a feature.

nice idea , (i currently partially override this issue by adding the all photos(via ctrl+a) in an albume to a tag copy (like tag:albumes/family) and use search in tag for people faces )(disadventages : a bit bothersome/takes manual process , you dont know if you missed a person)(wanted to say in ccase its too bothersome for you or others atm)

Another use case is naming and merging people, especially after the reset introduced with the new "cluster group" sharing feature. For me, it's easier to work with a limited set of people (those who attended some event) and concentrate on those. By doing this for a few albums with lots of faces in them, I can quickly work through most of the unnamed faces. Without this, for example, weddings showing lots of other guests I don't know, flood the people page with unnamed faces, and weeding them out takes a bit of effort (it really helps to go through the individual wedding photos to hide those unknown faces).

I recently had a wedding. I would have loved to download and share all pics from that album with X in it.

I would also love to be able to enable face clustering View in albums for internal and external shares. So even people with just a link can search themselves up in the album.

I also love that this thing is just a data transformation problem, as the matches already exist. It should be on the medium effort.

Note: I feel so grateful to developers of high caliber open source projects, that I kinda feel bad when asking for a feature.
I hope the future belongs to open source projects.

With the new cluster groups and face recognition I think it becomes an even more powerful feature especially in shared albums.
I think, instead of album exclusive face selection, maybe this could be a part of a bigger within album search feature similiar to the already implemented search bar (maybe related #26767).

Not wanting too much, surely just showing which people are inside this album would be a first good step =)
