  • Keep new Codex sessions and activity visible while session indexes catch up.
  • Recover startup when another VS Code window owns account auth synchronization or the nested account-index save.
  • Register dashboard and extension-host restart commands before fallible startup work so user actions remain available while encrypted sync starts.
  • Automatically refresh the extension host once after installation or update so command registrations become active without manual Developer commands.
