The Animate UI skill now checks that focus survives the motion.
npx skills add imskyleen/animate-uiWhen it reviews or writes motion, the skill now looks for what keyboard and screen-reader users feel, and that animate-ui audit can't read from the code:
- A focus ring delayed or clipped by an animation: rings show at once, stay under reduced motion, and aren't cut off by an
overflow: hiddenadded for a clip or a reveal. - Something invisible that can still be focused: an exiting panel, a hidden slide or a step off screen becomes
inert, and a reveal on scroll plays at once when focus lands inside it. - Focus that arrives late or gets lost: a hand-built overlay takes focus as it opens and gives it back as it closes, and an inline panel returns it to its trigger.
- A swap that drops the focus: a focused button keeps its element while its label or icon changes, a reordered list keeps its DOM order in step with what's shown, and a result shown only as motion ("Copied", "Saved") is announced in a live region.
