Session persistence

Plexamp Classic now remembers the layout you left behind:

  • Main player, Playlist, Equalizer, MilkDrop, and Media Library open/closed state
  • Desktop Panels or Windowed Player mode
  • Zoom level and Windowed Player size/position
  • Media Library size/position

First launch starts clean with only the main player tile open. Saved invalid or off-screen window positions are repaired back into the visible display area.

Reliability

  • Session files are versioned, validated, and written atomically.
  • Switching player modes no longer risks closing the entire app during the window handoff.

Verification

  • Session-state unit tests pass.
  • Plex search and actual app-stream:// playback were verified.
  • Universal Intel + Apple silicon DMG built and audited; private Plex configuration, account state, .env, and the non-redistributable preset pack are excluded.

Installation

This build is unsigned and not notarized because no Apple Developer signing identity is configured. macOS may require Control-click → Open the first time.
