🛠️ Fixes and Improvements

This update includes several playback, interface, and stability improvements across WolfTube.

🎨 User Interface

  • Fixed the position of the WolfTube button on iPad, especially when using the Arabic interface.
  • The WolfTube button now appears and disappears together with the YouTube player controls, preventing it from remaining visible over the video.
  • Improved text layout when switching languages and prevented text from extending outside the screen.

🎬 Video and Audio Playback

  • Hidden video activity from the Dynamic Island while watching inside the app, while keeping playback information available on the Lock Screen when leaving the app.
  • Fixed missing video title, channel name, thumbnail, and duration when playing downloaded media.
  • Fixed downloaded video and audio playback stopping when the device is locked.
  • Fixed the Lock Screen progress bar, allowing users to seek to the desired position.
  • Fixed the progress bar for regular videos streamed directly from YouTube.
  • Prevented streamed videos from restarting from the beginning when seeking through the Lock Screen controls.
  • Prevented control conflicts between streamed videos and downloaded media.

📥 Downloads and Stability

  • Improved the stability of the Downloads page.
  • Added automatic cleanup for outdated temporary files.
  • Fixed several build errors that previously prevented the application from compiling successfully.

✨ New Features

▶️ Playback Resume

  • Downloaded videos and audio files now automatically resume from the last saved playback position.
  • Playback progress is saved when:
    • Pausing the media
    • Locking the device
    • Leaving the application
    • Seeking to another position
  • Media is reset to the beginning only after it has been played completely.

🔒 Lock Screen Controls

  • Added full Lock Screen controls for downloaded media.
  • Added 15-second forward and rewind controls.
  • Added channel name and video thumbnail display on the Lock Screen.

🧪 Development and Diagnostics

  • Added a project validation system to detect errors before creating a build.
  • Added dedicated diagnostic tools instead of relying on speculative fixes.
