AKernel v0.1.6rc6 improves sandbox placement, runtime packaging, image-cache configuration, and SDK command handling.
Highlights

  • Add configurable spread and binpack placement policies for cluster deployments, with spread as the default. Improve frontend creation routing and make unavailable node states explicit in ak resources.
  • Package the complete, checksum-verified gVisor runtime bundle so runsc and its checkpoint/restore helpers use a matching release.
  • Allow operators to configure shared ChunkDB capacity in standalone, Helm, and Terraform deployments.
  • Upgrade the YuanRong runtime to 0.10.2rc9 and the default sandbox SDK dependency to 0.10.2rc10. Preserve command timeout status and error details without treating a still-running command as completed.
