… project 5 These concept sets already exist in the data dictionary but were not assigned to the Quality Benchmarking Dashboards project. They are needed for QI01 (lung-protective ventilation) and QI02 (weaning).
Create two new concept sets that classify the invasive mechanical ventilation concepts (CS 306) into pressure driven (PCV, CS 339, 13 concepts) and volume driven (VCV, CS 340, 5 concepts) modes. Needed for QI01 (lung-protective ventilation in ARDS) where the ventilation mode determines how plateau pressure is interpreted.
Add three glucose measurement concepts needed for QI04: - 3004501: Glucose [Mass/volume] in Serum or Plasma (LOINC 2345-7) - 1092148: Glucose [Mass/volume] in Mixed venous blood (LOINC 104655-6) - 3034962: Glucose [Mass/volume] in Capillary blood by Glucometer (LOINC 41653-7)
Create new concept set for Certoparin with 9 Standard Clinical Drug concepts from RxNorm and RxNorm Extension. Needed for QI05 (prevention of venous thromboembolism) where Certoparin was the only anticoagulant missing from the data dictionary.
Create new concept set with LOINC component concept 1032192 (LP74704-5). Needed for QI08 (advance care plan). Note: This is a non-standard LOINC Component concept as no standard equivalent exists in OMOP vocabularies.
