Vortex Launcher 1.4.0 is here!

We've made a lot of improvements, especially in the user experience, user interface, and built-in tools and utilities. The Vortex Launcher will help manage projects, modules, plugins, and content for all of your Vortex projects!

Note

Vortex is part of Infinite's initiative to create free, independent, and ethical technology and computing. Vortex is a central point of this project, but maintaining projects like Vortex is a time-consuming and costly process. If you appreciate Vortex, you can support us on our funding page if you can and if you want.

Warning

This software isn't fully stable yet. Crashes and bugs can occur, but we're beginning to have a really cool user experience!

Compatibility

  • All x86_64 Linux-based distributions (tested especially on ArchLinux, Ubuntu, and Debian)
  • Microsoft Windows 10/11 (WARNING: You need the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 17 (https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe). This Microsoft dependency will be added in the installer in the future.)
